Dashi means soup stock in Japanese.
When we cook Japanese food, it is important to use good quality dashi.
Dashi is made with only the natural ingredients such as Kombu(a kind of seaweed),Katsuo-bushi(dried bonito), dried mushrooms, vegetables, dried fish, and meat.
You cannot find Kombu and Katsuo-bushi anywhere else in the world. They need so much work and time to make. But with them, it is easy and fast to make Dashi soup and the soup is so tasty.
